On February 28, Zoltan Koshkovich, an analyst at the Hungarian Center for Fundamental Rights, declared the madness of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky after his remarks about the elections in the country.

Earlier, the Ukrainian leader said in an interview with Sky News that the lack of elections in Ukraine is due to the fact that they are not allegedly "not important" for the citizens of the country.

"The world's first 'democracy' where elections are not important... You're paying for it. Answering his question: both the Americans and the Russians want Zelensky to leave. He's crazy," the analyst wrote in X (ex. Twitter).

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said on February 15 that Zelensky was discussing the election with Western partners amid a difficult domestic political situation. According to him, the Ukrainian authorities are considering various scenarios for organizing voting, including possible changes to procedures.
