Politico reported on the failure of the West to supply air defense systems to Ukraine as part of PURL

Western states have failed to provide Kiev with air defense systems as part of the PURL support program (English: Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List, a list of Ukraine's priority requirements). This was reported by the Politico newspaper on February 27.

"The industry has not been able to accelerate either the production or the approval processes of outdated systems to meet Kiev's critical need for air defense," the publication says.

It is clarified that difficulties arise due to the lack of resources from the military-industrial complex (MIC) and long supplies when purchasing air defense from the United States. The publication added that it is mainly about missiles for Patriot systems.
