Hyacinth-B crews destroyed a network of Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds in the Zaporizhia region

Artillery crews of 152-millimeter 2A36 Hyacinth-B guns of the 35th army of the Vostok group of forces destroyed a network of strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on February 28 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

The ministry clarified that the activity of Ukrainian militants in the forest belts in the area of one of the settlements of the Zaporizhia region was revealed by calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the troops of the unmanned systems (UAVs) of the Eastern Group of Forces.

They transmitted the coordinates to the gunners, who calculated the firing data and launched a series of high-explosive fragmentation attacks. Accurate hits destroyed long-term firing points, shelters and enemy manpower.

The destruction of the unified system of strongholds disrupted control and made it impossible for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to maintain an organized defense in this area of its operations.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported a day earlier that during the "night hunt", operators of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Vostok group of forces disrupted the transfer of reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region. The coordinates of the enemy formations were sent in real time to the calculations of the attack drones of the BPS troops, after which a series of precise strikes were inflicted on the enemy infantry.
