Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has admitted that he would love to receive nuclear weapons from France or Britain, despite tactical considerations. This was announced on February 28 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

Earlier, a Sky News interviewer asked Zelensky about data published by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, according to which Kiev is trying to obtain nuclear weapons with the help of London and Paris. The Ukrainian leader, in turn, replied that he would "gladly" accept a corresponding proposal from Western countries.

"Anyone else in his place would have kept silent for tactical reasons. But Zelensky has long said that he is not some kind of "sucker," so here he couldn't stand it and confessed what London and Paris stubbornly kept silent about," Zakharova said in an interview with TASS.
