Afghanistan lost 297 people killed in clash with Pakistan
As a result of the clash on the Pakistani-Afghan border, 297 Taliban were killed and more than 450 people were injured. This was announced on February 27 by the Pakistani Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar.
"A summary of the losses of the Afghan Taliban: 297 killed, more than 450 wounded, 89 destroyed checkpoints, 18 captured checkpoints, 135 destroyed tanks and armored vehicles," he wrote on the social network X (former. Twitter).
Tarar also noted that 29 targets across Afghanistan were hit from the air.
A day earlier, on February 27, the Ariana News channel reported the deaths of four people and 16 injured in the Afghan province of Paktia after an attack by Pakistan.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on February 27 that Russia was counting on a cessation of hostilities between Afghanistan and Pakistan. The presidential spokesman added that the Russian Federation is monitoring developments on the border of the two countries, while stressing that it is too early to draw any conclusions.
