What happened
An explosion occurred on February 27 in an apartment building on Kadyrova Street in southwest Moscow on the 15th floor. The windows in the apartment were blown out. 150 people were evacuated from the house. They were temporarily housed in a school located next to their home.
The owner of the apartment where the explosion occurred told Izvestia that her husband and daughter were injured and added that she was not at home at the time of the incident. The injured were taken to the hospital, and doctors assess their condition as moderate.

Mosgaz reported that the house had not been gassed. Emergency services, four fire trucks and two ambulances are on site. No signs of fire were found, the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the capital added.
The prefecture of the Southwestern Administrative District reported that the incident did not affect the supporting structures of the house and noted that the damaged facade plate would be dismantled using special equipment. In addition, the metropolitan Department of Transport added that traffic on the section of the street where the explosion occurred was blocked.

The Zyuzinsky interdistrict prosecutor's office took control of establishing the circumstances of the explosion. A pre-investigation check has been organized into the explosion.
