Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak joined the team of advisers to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This was reported on February 27 by The Independent newspaper.

"Rishi Sunak has assumed the role of one of several international advisers assisting the Ukrainian government in economic renewal," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, Sunak will deal with issues of restoring the Ukrainian economy, attracting investments in the defense sector, as well as strengthening the country's energy sustainability.

On February 14, the Ukrainian media reported a split in Zelensky's entourage over his position on Donbass. It was clarified that two advisers to the Ukrainian leader admit the possibility of abandoning part of the territory of Donbass.
