Brent oil prices rose to their highest since June 23
The price of Brent crude futures for delivery in May 2026 amounted to more than $73 per barrel, this price was recorded for the first time since July 30, 2025, according to trading data on the London ICE Exchange on February 27.
By 16:04 Moscow time, the price of Brent rose by 3.06% to $73.01 per barrel. However, a few minutes later, by 16:10 Moscow time, the price of Brent accelerated its growth to $73.1 per barrel (+3.19%).
WTI crude oil futures for delivery in April 2026 at the same time were at $67.37 per barrel (+3.31%).
On January 2, Reuters reported an increase in oil prices after talks between American President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. Then futures for Brent crude oil rose to $61.27 per barrel, for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil — to $57.32 per barrel.
