Repair of the road to Aksenovo-Zilovsky in Transbaikalia will be completed in 2026

In 2026, the overhaul of the access road to the village of Aksenovo-Zilovskoye from the Amur federal highway will be completed in Transbaikalia. 189.3 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes, the press service of the regional Ministry of Finance reports.

The funds will be allocated for the complex of works necessary to bring the site into a standard condition, taking into account the requirements of safety and comfortable operation.

The renovation is in its second year. Last year, in 2025, earthworks were carried out, temporary bypass roads were built and culverts were replaced.

In the current 2026, the contractor will lay asphalt concrete pavement. The work is scheduled to be completed by November, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

Almost 3.5 thousand people live in Aksenovo-Zilovsky. Most of the residents work on the Trans-Baikal Railway. The village has a kindergarten, a school, a medical center and an outpatient clinic.

Earlier it was reported that multifunctional road service points will appear along the roads in Transbaikalia. The issue of their creation has already been discussed at a meeting in the regional Ministry of Economic Development.
