Almost 3.6 thousand fires were recorded in Crimea in 2025

3,594 fires were registered in Crimea over the past 2025. These figures were announced by the head of the Council of Ministers of the Republic, Yuri Gotsanyuk, during the summing up of the work of the territorial subsystem of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

According to him, the work of 300 patrol groups was organized for the safe passage of the fire period. As a result, the inspectors stopped more than 1,000 violations, writes IA SevastopolMedia.

Thanks to the efforts of rescuers, municipalities, and fire and rescue garrisons, it was possible to prevent the spread of landscape fires in populated areas.

Gotsanyuk also outlined the key tasks for 2026. Among them are improving the efficiency of fire safety and emergency prevention, updating mineralized strips and clearing the area of flammable materials.

In addition, to minimize fires, it is necessary to provide populated areas with sources of fire-fighting water supply, complete the installation of local warning systems on the GTS, and complete a number of other tasks.
