The 400th anniversary Park of Krasnoyarsk will be put in order in two years

The park named after the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk will be put in order in two years. The work will be carried out by the organization "Sportstroymontazh", the press service of the city administration reported on Friday, February 27.

In the coming 2026, it is planned to improve the site with a monument to Pavel Fedirko. Paving stones will be updated on the site, power supply networks will be laid, lamps on supports will be replaced and video cameras will be installed.

A stage for events will also be built on the square. Its appearance will resemble the silhouette of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theater.

Next year, 2027, the facility will provide a dog-walking area, replace outdoor furniture and small architectural forms, transform the pond and modernize sports areas.

According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, 130 trees and 450 shrubs will be planted on the territory of the public space. There are no plans to close the park for the duration of the work.

Earlier it was reported that a new urban recreation area will be built on the right bank of Krasnoyarsk. The facility will be located on Kutuzov Street in the area of houses No. 81a, 83a, 87a, 87b.
