- Sweden has not ruled out the possibility of deploying nuclear weapons during a military clash.
Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonson said that Sweden may consider deploying nuclear weapons on its territory in the event of martial law. Sveriges Radio reported this on February 27.
"The presence of nuclear weapons on Swedish territory during wartime cannot be ruled out," the publication says.
It is noted that since 2023, before Sweden joined NATO, the parties agreed that there should be no nuclear weapons on the territory of the state in peacetime.
Polish President Karol Nawrocki announced on February 15 that he was in favor of joining the country's nuclear project. He believes that Poland should follow this path in compliance with all international norms.
