A case was opened against the rapper Pharaoh for drug propaganda
An administrative case has been opened against the Russian rap artist Pharaoh (real name is Gleb Golubin) on the fact of drug propaganda. This was announced on February 27 on the website of the official portal of the courts of general jurisdiction of the city of Moscow.
As it became known, the protocol concerning the musician was submitted for consideration to the Nikulinsky district court of the capital. The court hearing is scheduled for March 13.
At the moment, law enforcement agencies do not specify the content of which musical works or video clips of the artist became the reason for administrative prosecution.
In November 2025, Russia planned to equate destructive content with extremist content, which would allow it to be blocked in a pre-trial manner. For the first time, they wanted to consolidate the very concept of destructive content, which today means propaganda of violence, suicide, drugs, LGBT (the movement is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), child pornography and other dangerous materials.
