Sobyanin spoke about the improvement of the former industrial zone Ogorodny Proezd

The development of the former industrial zone of Ogorodny Proezd with an area of more than 330 hectares is actively underway in the capital. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about the plans for landscaping in his channel in the MAX messenger.

According to the mayor of the capital, landscaping will be carried out on virtually the entire area of the industrial zone. To date, almost 500,000 square meters of residential real estate, two business centers and an exclusive educational complex have already been built here. Currently, active construction of both residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities is continuing, including a technology park, two schools and two kindergartens. The further development plan for the Ogorodny Proezd industrial zone provides for the construction of about 1.9 million square meters of housing, four educational complexes in which a total of 3,510 students will study, and a kindergarten for 250 children, seven multifunctional centers and two sports complexes. In addition, the transport infrastructure will be developing at a faster pace, new streets will be built and existing streets will be reconstructed.

The Mayor of the capital also shared plans for the development of the former industrial zone as part of the integrated territorial development program. The construction of additional facilities in the area under the KRT will help create more than 14,000 additional jobs in Moscow.
