Flight restrictions have been introduced at four airports in Russia.

Temporary restrictions on flights were introduced at the airports of Samara, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk and Cheboksary. This was announced on February 26 by the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency.

"Kazan Airport, Nizhnekamsk (Begishevo), Samara Cheboksary. Restrictions have been imposed on the reception and release of aircraft," the Telegram channel said.

The ministry noted that restrictions are necessary to ensure the safety of air transportation.

Earlier in the day, restrictions were introduced at Saratov and Penza airports.
