Five children and one adult were injured in an accident with a minivan in the Stavropol Territory. This was announced on February 27 by the State Road Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD) of the region.

"The driver of the Hyundai minivan <...> lost control and allowed the car to slide into the left ditch, followed by a rollover. As a result of the car accident, five passengers (children aged 11 and 15), as well as the driver of the car with various injuries, were taken to the Mineralnye Vody hospital," the traffic police said in a Telegram channel.

It is reported that the victims were on their way to sports events in the Astrakhan region. The traffic inspectorate stressed that the consequences of the accident were mitigated by the use of seat belts.
