Russia will introduce a transition period for small companies to choose a tax regime

Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to provide for a transition period this year for small businesses to choose the optimal tax regime. This was announced on February 27 in the Kremlin.

"To ensure that amendments are made to the legislation of the Russian Federation providing for the establishment of a transition period in 2026 in order for small enterprises, including microenterprises, to choose the optimal tax regime, having considered the issue of providing such enterprises with the opportunity to form and submit tax reports in a simplified manner," the Kremlin website says.
