The command of the 1st Presidential Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recognizes the dead militants as missing. This was reported by TASS on February 27, citing Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The command of the 1st presidential [brigade] of the enemy reports most of its soldiers killed on the front line as missing," the agency's source said.

It is indicated that due to the concealment of losses, the Ukrainian command cannot evacuate bodies from the combat zone.

On February 25, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that Ukrainian militants of the 1st Presidential Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were demanding their withdrawal from the front line in the Zaporizhia region due to heavy losses.
