The air defense forces destroyed two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the sky over the Tula region. This was announced on February 27 by the governor of the region Dmitry Milyaev.

"Two Ukrainian drones were destroyed by the forces of the air defense units of the Russian Defense Ministry in the sky over the Tula region," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

The governor added that no one was injured as a result of the incident. He clarified that, according to preliminary information, there was no damage to the infrastructure.

The new complexes are guaranteed to destroy firing points during attacks on enemy fortified areas.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported a day earlier that air defense systems destroyed 53 unmanned aerial vehicles over the territory of the Russian Federation within three hours, 12 of them were eliminated over the Moscow region.
