A dinosaur skeleton the size of a crow has been discovered in Argentina.

A well-preserved skeleton of one of the world's smallest known dinosaurs, Alnashetri cerropoliciensis, has been discovered in Argentina. This was reported on February 27 by NBC News.

"Alnasetri is really tiny. It weighs about 1.5 pounds (about 680 g — Ed.), smaller than a chicken <...> It will not even reach the knee height of an average adult," Peter Makowicki, paleontologist and lead author of the study from the University of Minnesota, said in the publication.

It is noted that the dinosaur of this species was the size of a crow and, according to scientists, hunted small animals such as lizards, snakes, mammals and invertebrates. It is noteworthy that the fossil with the bones has been preserved in the position they were in during their lifetime.
