Many drones that Western states transfer to Kiev as military aid turn out to be suitable only for spare parts, since they become obsolete before joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on February 26 by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper.
"Many of the drones provided to the Kiev forces by the Western allies were outdated by the time they arrived," the publication says.
Ukrainian commanders and engineers told the media that they often receive outdated drone models, and they need to be reconfigured before using them.
