On February 25, US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky had a telephone conversation, during which key issues related to the territorial integrity of Ukraine were discussed. This was reported on February 26 by the publication "Public".

During the conversation, the leaders of the countries also touched upon the upcoming meeting of the Ukrainian delegation with representatives of the United States, including Trump's special envoy Stephen Witkoff and President's son-in-law Jared Kushner.
