The report of an alleged explosive device at Chisinau's Eugene Doga International Airport has not been confirmed. This was announced on February 26 by representatives of the border police.

"The checks carried out by specialized teams have been completed, and the alarm signal given at the Eugene Doga—Chisinau International Airport has not been confirmed," the department's Telegram channel said.

Currently, the airport has resumed its normal operation.

Prior to that, an alert was issued at the Evgeny Doga airport in Chisinau after a report was received about the mining of the air harbor. It was clarified that after receiving an anonymous signal, emergency services were sent to the scene, passengers and employees were partially evacuated, and the building and the surrounding area were examined by specialists.
