Lada Largus has the highest residual value among 3-year-old cars by the end of 2025. This is the conclusion reached by the experts of the Autostat agency, the results of the 12th annual Residual Value Award were announced on February 26.
When compiling the rating, cars of 256 models and 593 modifications officially sold in Russia were examined. For the analysis, the price of a new car in 2022 was used, calculated taking into account the weight of the modification in the total sales volume of the model on the market, and the resale price in 2025.
Lada Largus became the leader in terms of residual value in 2025 — 111%. The LADA Niva Travel SUV won in the SUV (B) segment with a score of 92.8%. The Changan CS55 Plus (UNI-S) crossover is the leader in the SUV-C segment (81.6%), the UAZ Patriot SUV is in the SUV-D segment (83.5%), and the GAC GS8 crossover is in the SUV-E segment (85.6%). The JAC T6 won the championship among pickups — 79.2%.
Autostat experts also named 2-year—old hybrids and electric vehicles that retain their residual value better than others - Lixiang L7, Hongqi E-HS9 and Evolve i-Joy.
Sergey Tselikov, director of the Autostat analytical agency, said in August that the BMW X5 turned out to be the most illiquid of the popular crossovers with mileage in Russia. The expert used the prices before removing the ad from sale on the three leading classifieds as the basis for calculations, the average value is calculated by the year of issue. The conditional residual value of the BMW X5 is 24%. Currently, a 2022 car sells for an average of 9.2 million rubles. You can buy this 2012 model for an average of 2.2 million rubles.
