Zakharova called the reduction of Russia's mission to the European Union discrimination

Reducing the size of Russia's permanent mission to the European Union is a discriminatory measure that will not go unanswered by Moscow. This was announced on February 26 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"Of course, we regard this measure as discriminatory. This is a direct violation of article 7 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. Let me remind you that according to this document, the accrediting state, in this case Russia, can freely appoint members of the staff of its diplomatic mission," Zakharova said.
