Zakharova stressed the relevance of its objectives after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on civilians

The strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on civilians in the Kursk and Bryansk regions, including deadly drone attacks, confirm the urgency of denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, which are the goals of a special military operation. This was announced on February 26 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"All of the above facts and much of what we will talk about today confirm the urgency of the tasks of denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine and the elimination of threats emanating from its territory," Zakharova said during a weekly briefing.

Zakharova noted that the Kiev regime is being defeated at the front, which is why it takes out its anger on the civilian population. According to her, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking civilians in the Kursk and Bryansk regions purposefully, striking residential areas and vital facilities.

At a meeting of the FSB board, the president instructed to strengthen the protection of Russians and spoke about the threats of bombings in the Black Sea.

Zakharova said on the same day that the killings of civilians had become commonplace for the Kiev regime. According to the diplomat, such actions by the Ukrainian side are, in fact, an act of international terrorism. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that the worse things get for the Ukrainian militants at the front, the more massive the attacks on civilians become.
