Georgia does not impose anti-Russian sanctions, as this may harm the republic itself. This was announced by Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili on February 26.
"We cannot and are not imposing sanctions against Russia, based on the fact that this will actually have no effect on Russia, but it will have a very big impact on Georgia," Bochorishvili said in an interview with Rustavi 2 television.
