For the first time since the Great Depression, the number of Americans who left the United States in 2025 exceeded the number of migrants who arrived. The Wall Street Journal wrote about this on February 25.

According to the newspaper, 150,000 more people left the United States last year than arrived. At the same time, experts believe that this indicator will continue to grow in 2026.
