- The Ministry of Culture has launched the opportunity to confirm benefits using the MAX messenger
The Russian Ministry of Culture has launched the opportunity to confirm benefits in museums, theaters and galleries using the national messenger MAX. This was announced on February 26 by the messenger's press service.
It is now possible to confirm the right to a discount for students, large families, pensioners and people with disabilities using a digital ID in the application. When buying a ticket at the ticket office, it is enough for the visitor to show the QR code on the smartphone screen, and for the employee of the institution to scan it.
Several hundred cultural institutions in Russian regions, including Moscow, St. Petersburg and Krasnodar Krai, are participating in the pilot project. It is clarified that the new option is most often used by visitors to the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, and the Moscow Zoo.
In addition, the Ministry of Culture has launched a large-scale campaign "Culture to remember." MAX users with preferential status up to and including March 1 can visit cultural institutions for free or at a discount.
The day before, it was reported that MAX users will be able to create a digital ID in the application in a few simple steps. To do this, go to the "Digital ID" profile section, click "Add documents", provide consent to "Public Services" and confirm the action.
On January 28, Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Russia, said that MAX entered the top five fastest-growing services in the world. According to him, at the moment the messenger has an audience of 89 million users, of which about 60 million use the service daily.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
