Artillery crews of the 152-mm Msta-B howitzer of the 80th Guards Tank Regiment of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces hit the temporary deployment sites of the Military Forces of Ukraine (AFU) located in a wooded area in the Dnepropetrovsk area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on February 26 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the target was detected by the Unmanned Systems Unit (UAS). The coordinates were transmitted to the artillery command post, after which the calculations of 152-mm towed howitzers 2A65 "Msta-B" began to perform combat missions. The guns were brought into combat position as soon as possible. According to the agency, the fire attack on the enemy target was conducted at a distance of more than 15 km.

The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the artillery of the Center group regularly provides fire support to assault units and contributes to their advance in this area.
