Alaudinov announced the outflow of most of the civilian population from Sumy

Most of the civilian population left the city of Sumy. This was announced on February 26 by the commander of the Akhmat special forces, Deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov.

"Civilians, most of those who can already leave there, they have already left. If a year ago we saw that everyone was living peacefully in Sumy, and flying over Sumy, we saw, one might say, an absolutely calm civilian life, then [now] most of the peaceful people have already left there," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
