Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said he was grateful to the deputies of the State Duma for both their support and constructive criticism of the initiatives of the Russian government. With his speech, he addressed the parliamentarians on February 25, making a report.

The Prime Minister noted that, together with the government and the population, the deputies went through the most difficult stages, including overcoming the consequences of the pandemic and the impact of Western sanctions. Members of the Government highly appreciate the contribution of the State Duma to the work done.

"Thank you all for such a frank, interested, professional conversation. For all the suggestions made, for the topics raised. Both in your questions and in the speeches of the faction leaders," he stressed.

Following the meeting, a list of instructions will be prepared so that all initiatives can be worked out, Mishustin added. He also thanked the deputies of the VIII convocation for their joint work and the decisions they made to develop the Russian Federation and improve the quality of life in the country.

On February 3, Mishustin, during a government meeting with the leadership of the Communist Party faction, stressed the importance of a unified position of deputies on the topic of supporting participants in a special military operation (SVO) and their families. He noted that in 2025, the faction took an active part in the dialogue with representatives of ministries and departments.
