Rosgvardiya's work was discussed at an expanded meeting of the department's board

In a short period of time since the appearance of the Rosgvardiya, work has been carried out to form the modern look of the department's troops. This was announced on February 25 by the head of the Rosgvardiya Viktor Zolotov at an expanded meeting of the board of the department following the results of work in 2025.

"In a short period of time, by historical standards, a large—scale work has been carried out to determine the modern appearance of the troops, which, of course, was greatly facilitated by constructive joint work with the presidential administration, the government, as well as authorities at various levels," he said.

Zolotov recalled that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Rosgvardiya division into a separate executive authority.

An expanded meeting was held with the participation of the first Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov. The participants summed up the results of the Rosgvardiya's service and combat activities for 2025 and defined tasks for 2026.

At the meeting, Zolotov also congratulated Manturov on being awarded the title of Hero of Russia. The director of Rosgvardiya pointed to the government's leading role in building the department's capacity. Manturov, in turn, thanked the command staff, military personnel and employees of the Rosgvardiya for their work and added that the government remains committed to the systematic support of the department. Thus, the volume of state defense orders for the supply of weapons and equipment increased almost 1.5 times last year.
