A fire at a factory in the Smolensk region after an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces has been eliminated

A fire at a chemical plant in the Smolensk region that arose after an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has been eliminated, the governor of the region, Vasily Anokhin, said on February 25.

Rescuers continue to work at the scene of the emergency, and ambulance crews are also on duty.

"The fire has now been extinguished, and small pockets of decay are being poured," the head of the region said in his Telegram channel.

The Investigative Committee of Russia reported that the death toll from the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the Dorogobuzh chemical plant in the Smolensk Region has increased to seven people.
