The man who killed seven people on New Year's Eve from December 31, 1992 to January 1, 1993 in the Urals was sentenced to 14 years and 11 months in a high-security penal colony. This was announced on February 25 in the press service of the courts of the Sverdlovsk region.

It is specified that citizen Viktor Petrichenko met the company at the Sverdlovsk-Passazhirsky train station and invited them to celebrate the New Year, five adults and two teenagers of 12 and 13 years old gathered in the apartment at that time. During the celebration, a man poured clofelin into alcohol for adults, and then killed them.
