In 2025, the Moscow Region produced 7.7 thousand tons of frozen mushrooms and vegetables (except potatoes). This was announced on Wednesday, February 25, according to the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
In total, the region accounts for 15.9% of the volume produced in the Central Federal District. In the total Russian volume, this share is 6.6%.
Among the large regional enterprises, the department singled out Morozko, PC Yuzhe and Russian Vegetable Company.
According to the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya, the development of vegetable growing and its processing remains one of the priorities of agricultural policy in the region.
Earlier it was reported that by 2030, the Moscow region plans to increase egg production several times. Such goals will be achieved through the launch of large enterprises.
