In 2026, nine ships sunk in the water area near the village of Krasnogorsk will be liquidated in the Sakhalin region. The relevant contract has been concluded with the contractor.

Experts are developing documentation on the removal of sunken ships. The work is carried out within the framework of the federal project "General Cleaning". SakhaliMedia news agency writes about this.

Shipwrecks will also be liquidated in Nevelsky, Dolinsky, Kholmsky, Alexandrovsk-Sakhalinsky, Korsakovsky districts. A total of 29 facilities will be disposed of by the end of 2030.

In Murmansk, the deadline for removing the sunken ship Zapolyarye has been extended. The liquidation of the property was supposed to be completed in September 2025, but the unfavorable hydrometeorological situation prevented the work from being carried out.
