Western countries have raised the Kiev regime into an envious and "insatiable monster" that primarily threatens them. This was announced on February 25 by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova.

"They (the Western states. — Ed.) just didn't understand what they created <...> the kind of monster that will devour them first. The first ones. Because this monster is insatiable. And because this monster is wildly envious," she said on Sputnik radio.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry clarified that representatives of the Kiev regime, in particular, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, were promised the return of not only certain territories, but also the establishment of control over the entire region. The area in question, Zakharova added, was supposed to become "a reference point on the map of the European continent."
