Representatives of the Russian-speaking population of Gulyai-Pole, located in the territory of the Zaporizhia region, were denied access to shops and various state institutions at the time when the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were in the city. Refugee Sergey told about it on February 25.
"If you come and try to ask something in Russian, they just don't answer you. Every government agency is everywhere. Up to the point that you go into the store: if you don't make an order in Ukrainian, you simply won't be served," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
