Syria TV reported on the terrorist attack on the Syrian army in Deir ez-Zor

Militants of the Islamic State terrorist organization (IS, the organization is recognized as terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation) have carried out an armed attack in the province of Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria. This was reported on February 24 by the Syria TV channel with reference to the statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.

According to media reports, the terrorists targeted the headquarters of the 86th division of the Syrian army in the city of Abu Kemal bordering Iraq.

"As a result of which four employees of the checkpoint were killed and two more were injured," the publication says.
