A detachment of ships of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) consisting of the corvettes "Perfect", "Sharp" and the medium sea tanker "Pechenga" in the Korean Strait honored the memory of the Russian sailors who died in the Battle of Tsushima. This was reported on February 25 in the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

It is specified that as a sign of the memory of the heroes, a wreath was lowered onto the water, and a minute of silence was declared on the ships.

"Passing through such memorable places, you always feel an inexhaustible sense of pride for the exploits of our ancestors who showed heroism and courage in the Battle of Tsushima, and you also feel a great sense of responsibility, since we are entrusted with such tasks as demonstrating the St. Andrew's flag and protecting the sea borders," said Lieutenant Konstantin Skorokhod, officer of the Sharp corvette.

In addition, the Pacific Fleet's press service added that in the South China Sea, the Perfectny and Sharp corvettes replenished their fuel reserves on the move using the Pechenga wake.

A detachment of three ships left Vladivostok on February 12 to carry out tasks in the Asia-Pacific region (APR). They need to conduct a number of exercises in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as make business calls at ports of friendly countries.

On January 9, the press service of the Baltic Fleet reported that the Russian ships Stoyky and Yelnya had arrived in South Africa to participate in the trilateral exercises "Will to Peace 2026". It was noted that the naval forces of Russia, China and South Africa will take part in the exercises.
