The starting line-up of Buda Glimta included Russian goalkeeper Nikita Khaykin, who has been playing for the Norwegians since 2023. Jens Petter Hauge scored goals for the Norwegian club in the 58th minute and Haakon Evien in the 72nd. Alessandro Bastoni scored for the hosts, hitting the opponent's goal in the 77th minute.

The Norwegian club won its fourth consecutive victory over the European grandee. The draw for the 1/8 finals of the Champions League will be held on February 27. The final match of the tournament will take place on May 30 at the Puskas Arena stadium in Budapest.
