The Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine argued with Nebenzya about his nationality
On February 24, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mariana Betsa argued with Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya about his nationality during a meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
"Technically, I'm Ukrainian. And I have such a strange last name. Slavs know that it is difficult to find it even in Ukraine. She is from the Zaporozhian Cossacks. My father is a big—cheeked Ukrainian, and my mother is also from the Cossacks," the Russian permanent representative said during the meeting.
