In the Ecuadorian province of Imbabura, an explosion in a house killed four people and injured eight others. This was reported on February 24 by the Primicias portal, citing data from the local fire service.
"After extinguishing the fire, emergency services confirmed the death of four people. <...> In addition, eight people were injured," the publication says.
It is specified that as a result of the incident, the building was completely destroyed. According to the fire department, the explosion could have occurred due to a violation of the rules for handling explosives. In addition, firearms were found in the house.
