The Federation Council announced an escalation of the conflict in the case of supplies of nuclear weapons to Ukraine.

The supply of nuclear weapons by Britain and France to Ukraine could lead to a sharp escalation of the conflict, as well as create a threat to Russia's security. This is stated in the appeal of the Federation Council to the parliaments of Great Britain and France, the European Parliament, as well as the United Nations (UN), the IAEA, published on February 24 on the website of the Federation Council.

"The senators of the Russian Federation are extremely alarmed by the intention of Great Britain and France to supply nuclear explosive devices to Ukraine. The implementation of such plans will lead to a sharp escalation of the conflict, create direct threats to the security of our country, as well as the entire European region," the appeal says.
