In the Nevelsky district of the Pskov region, a man died as a result of a fire in an apartment building. This was reported to the Pskov news feed in the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.
The fire occurred late on Tuesday evening, February 23, in the village of Kolpino. During the extinguishing, rescuers found a 64-year-old man dead.
The preliminary cause of the fire in the Ministry of Emergency Situations is called a short circuit of the power grid. The exact cause is being determined.
In total, six people and two pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
On January 26, a fire broke out in an apartment building in Velikiye Luki. As a result, a 70-year-old man died, and the house itself burned down throughout the area.
