Two people were injured in an accident involving a truck on the Kola highway
In the Murmansk region, two people were injured in a collision between a passenger car and a truck. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.
The accident occurred on the evening of February 23rd on the 1364th km of the federal highway R-21 "Cola". It was previously established that the 20-year-old driver of a Renault Logan, moving towards St. Petersburg, lost control. The car flew into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Scania truck.
As a result of the collision, the driver of the car and his passenger received various injuries. According to the Bi-port news agency, both were taken to the hospital. Judging by the photos from the scene, the car cannot be restored — the Renault body was badly damaged, the victims were unblocked from the car by rescuers.
