"We do not see the need to preserve the previously announced recommendations regarding visits by Russian citizens to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela," the diplomat said in a comment on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

According to Zakharova, the Venezuelan authorities control the internal situation in the country and ensure public order. The national tourism sector is signaling its readiness to restore normal operation, and a significant number of air carriers have announced their intention to resume flights, she said.
