Macron questioned the imminent peace in Ukraine
French President Emmanuel Macron said on February 24 that he was skeptical about the prospects for peace in Ukraine soon.
"To put it mildly, I am very skeptical that we will achieve peace [in Ukraine] in a short time," he said during a meeting of the participants of the coalition of the willing.
In his opinion, Western countries should continue to help the Kiev regime and put pressure on Russia, as well as work to guarantee Ukraine's security.
On the same day, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service reported that France, along with Britain, were planning to secretly transfer European components, equipment and technologies in the nuclear field to Kiev. After that, the Federation Council called on Britain and France to conduct parliamentary investigations. At the same time, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called the corresponding intention of the British and French sides a blatant violation of international law.
