The authorities of Blagoveshchensk will check the work of the Criminal Code after the snowfall

In Blagoveshchensk, the municipal housing and Communal Services department will check how management companies clean up areas after a snowfall. The management companies are responsible for the maintenance of the courtyards of multi-storey buildings. They use special equipment for snow removal.

In case of violations, they will be given instructions, and if the requirements are not met, the prosecutor's office will deal with the issue, writes IA PriamurMedia with reference to the press service of the city administration.

After heavy snowfall that hit Blagoveshchensk last weekend, special equipment is working on city streets in an enhanced mode. In one night, 230% of the February norm of precipitation fell, 16 mm.

Utilities have cleared 25 km of sidewalks and 40 km of roadways. About 20 public transport stops and approaches to them have been put in order. The workers used about 300 tons of deicing reagents. More than 30 pieces of equipment were involved in the cleaning.

Monitoring of the work of special equipment is carried out around the clock. The condition of the streets is checked by the heads of departments. If necessary, the work schedule is adjusted.

At the end of January, it was reported that more than 40 violations had been found in the work of Blagoveshchensk management companies. This became clear during the weekly monitoring of cleaning of adjacent territories of apartment buildings, which is carried out by employees of the city housing and communal services department. In particular, it is assessed how conscientiously the Criminal Code performs the duties of maintaining yards.
